Frequently Asked Questions for Denver Days 2012

 

1.  Where is parking?  Cost?

Parking is adjacent to and south of Rock Springs Elementary School.  Volunteers will be there to direct you through traffic and to available parking.  Parking is FREE.

 

2.  Are animals allowed?  No pets are allowed at Denver Days, other than service animals.

 

3.  Who is allowed to come to the Special Needs Kids Day?  The special needs child and his or her immediate family are invited.  The rides are free and food/drink are provided.

 

4.  Where can I get student coupons?  These will be passed out at all Lincoln County schools.  The coupon may be redeemed at the ticket office Wednesday and Thursday evenings for $2.00 off the all-you-can-ride admission.

 

5.  Is safety provided?  The Denver Fire Department will have their command post set up on the Denver Days grounds, and are available for anything from minor to an emergency.  In addition, Sheriff Carpenter will have an ample number of personnel covering the area.

 

6.  What are the hours?  See the schedule page, but generally just the rides and carnival midway are open Wednesday and Thursday and from 5 PM to 10 PM.  Friday and Saturday we close at 11 PM.

 

7.  I want to be a vendor or sponsor.  Where is that information?  Go to denverdays.com or email info@denverdays.com. 

 

8.  What rides will be at Denver Days?  Check denverdays.com the first of September, as we will have a listing of rides that Cole Rides plans to bring.

 

9.  Rules of Denver Days:  No firearms, no alcohol, no drugs of any kind.  Denver Days is a community, family-oriented festival.

 

10.  Is there a cost to Denver Days?  Just for the rides and food and any purchases you may make.  Come see the bands at no cost.

 

11.  Is Denver Days handicap accessible?  Yes, we have a separate handicap area and are able to provide transportation from the parking areas as needed.

 

12.  What type of vendors will I find?  We have a variety of food vendors, our local businesses will be at Denver Days with giveaways, games and photos.  Jewelry, handbags, leather items, candles, art and just about everything you can imagine!

 

13.  What are the ride ticket prices?  Each ride is priced individually.  Tickets may be purchased at the Cole Rides ticket booth, located just past the Rotary Club Welcome Tent, and we have discounts so the more you buy, the cheaper each ride is.  Plan for the kids to just LOVE the rides; they always do!
